“Both my father and son died by suicide. The book describes how important our thoughts are when dealing with depression -- something I’ve had to be very conscious about. There are also several practical tips for coping with depression including identifying triggers, gratitude, and taking care of oneself physi- cally. Great steps one can take to overcome depression even in very trying situations.”

“Depression is such a critical topic in today’s society and Jodi nails it on the head with her compilation of stories, anecdotes, and advice. This book is key for anyone feeling frustrated whether on a large scale or small -- as well as those who do not experience depression so they can gain greater charity and empathy for those who do. Great work, Jodi!. “
